  1. Same here. Fyi get into a chat on their website and they'll tell you a discount code you can use if you get one of the lifetime packages. I just got 10% off the $750 lifetime Blesta package. :)
  2. Apparently WHMCS don't care if they lose hundreds or even thousands of customers. They'll make up the income with the extortionate fees they will charge the few remaining suckers who stay. I have to wonder if an extremely high customer attrition rate after this stunt was a calculated expectation on the part of WHMCS and is partly responsible for their ridiculous new pricing structure.
  3. Breach of contract, for starters. Failure to provide a product as promised. Deceptive business practices. The advertised Owned License product when I bought it from WHMCS was for "Unlimited Clients, Unlimited Staff, Unlimited Products, No Linkback, Unlimited Email/Ticket Support*, 1 Year Included*" The asterisk caveat stated: "Owned licenses include 1 Year Support & Updates access with the initial purchase. After the first year, support & updates access can be optionally renewed to maintain access at a cost of just $44.95 per year." NOWHERE did they mention that the lifetime owed license would be discontinued in future. NOWHERE did they mention that WHMCS would suddenly refuse to provide updates and support unless we paid extortionate monthly fees that cost more per year than their so-called "One Time" lifetime license ever did.
