  1. Does any one have any recommendations for which programmes they use to compare '2' files, i.e. .tpl for example for mac computers that actually work ?
  2. It does that, but it does not permit to add the address. If the address is not 'character perfect' it will fail the registration.
  3. There is already an entry by default in there for .uk: $additionaldomainfields[".uk"] = $additionaldomainfields[".co.uk"]; This still will not allow you to add contact information on the purchase of a new .uk domain name when ordering via the admin login on behalf of a client.
  4. Yup you cannot try it until tomorrow, however I have simply been told to make ' feature' request in order to Register .uk domain names LOL It is not as though WHMCS did not have enough notice on this. I was advised again that the there is no way for WHMCS to automatically verify the eligibility of a registrant's claim to a reserved .uk domain I stressed again, I was not looking that far ahead ( as I would expect WHMCs would not support something as advanced as domain name registration until they had at least 36 months notice ), only the ability to actually 'Register' the domain in the first place. But seriously, how WHMCS expect that this is accepetable is just amazing.
  5. An update in case anyone else comes acroos this, which I know you will, email from WHMCS support: A fantastic resolution LOL
  6. Going by the blog post http://blog.whmcs.com/?t=89631 it basically states you have to order the domain via the 'Admin Order page' if the domain shows an unavailable. Yet on the 'Admin Order Page' you can only choose the Registrant name and type. No where to choose the contact address details for the domain name ? The contact details have to be exact otherwise the register requesty will fail. You have to assume the client has more than one domain name, and that their own primary contact details are set differently to the contact details of any one domain name. Basically as I see it, it would be 'impossible' to register manually as an 'admin' a .uk domain name. We were advised by WHMCS support ( ticket GLN-921926 ) to login as the client to place the order. But how can that work, if it shows as 'Unavailable' ?
  7. Hmm basically it will be fairly useless then
  8. The ones you have listed I agree with, but when trying things like: fight.club , hosting.club they are showing available when they are not.
  9. We are having trouble with .club .club|whois.nic.club|Domain Not found - shows every unavailable .club|whois.nic.club|Not found - shows everything available Has anyone the correct format or whois server for this extension ?
  10. This would not stop someone 'trying' to register any domain though, even if they are not entitled to it. The module needs to prevent it from happening.
  11. The biggest problem we see though, that WHMCS appear to be over looking in the development of the module for xx.uk domain names is the functionality that would be needed. This is the reply we received from WHMCS support in regard to this: The module must be able to check to see if a person is 'entitled' to register a new .uk domain, otherwise it would be pointless.
  12. We currently sell all products as + VAT to clients with the EU, and we are looking to change this to show the product as VAT inclusive from now on. However, we are needing a way to update the prices of all products in the database by 20%, to exclude any client that is 'NOT' located in a country in one of the TAX Rules. Clearly this will need to be done at database level, but we are looking to see if anyone can help with an SQL statement that could achieve this. Thanks for any help.
  13. Is it possible, someone within WHMCS might be able to take the time to active a paid order of some 24hrs + ? I placed a ticket IBP-064269, which has information relating to the order, to which I had sent a polite email at 09:45 this morning, asking if it could be activated. I was not expecting this would not still not be done, baring in mind we are now going into the Weekend, and we know that WHMCS will not answer/action any further Tickets until Monday morning.
  14. This said, it should actually show an error that means something to the client, ie Command Syntax Error means nothing to anyone
