  1. Good luck with sales. It might help if you update the order links as they don't work
  2. A control panel is going to be required if you want to automate things. But in reality, a client is going to need a control panel. You don't need a control panel to host your own WHMCS though... if you know what you're doing.
  3. If Chatstack has provided full access to the code, there isn't a reason for WHMCS to encode it as the full source is being provided by them already. Would be great if Chatstack could just release the module on their website if WHMCS doesn't get to this in a timely manner.
  4. The affiliate program is more suited if you have a website or blog with visitors that may have interest in ordering WHMCS (for example, web host review site). Your visitors use your special link and land on the WHMCS site, if they order, WHMCS will pay you a percentage on that sale. The reseller program is aimed for web hosting companies that offer reseller and/or VPS and/or dedicated servers. Hosts can include a free license (or offer it at a discounted rate) with their packages. To opt for this, you need to buy licenses in bulk (currently 5 minimum).
  5. http://whmcsintegration.ca/index.php has a v6 integration portfolio. Just click 'Portfolio' -> 'WHMCS 6 Portfolio' in the header nav bar.
  6. You'd need a master reseller (I strongly do not recommend this option) or a VPS+ server to launch a reseller company properly. Each reseller would need their own set of WHM login details and the above is the only way to achieve that.
  7. I can login fine to the admin area. The username and password is pre-entered so just hit login.
  8. At that chargeback ratio it most likely isn't your account specifically but the industry. This industry does see a lot of charge backs.
  9. If you start with a dedicated server your costs will increase significantly. These funds could instead be spent on marketing or saved for a rainy day. Remember, it is never just the dedicated server that you need to buy, it is licenses for control panel, backup software, backup server, add ons like Cloudlinux and Softaculous etc - And a big one, proper/full server management. A reseller account has all of these included at a simple $15 - $35 (depending on where you shop) monthly fee. In many cases, it also includes WHMCS for free or another billing software. And to top the reseller packages off, you have a (normally) 24/7 support team you can reach out to where you wouldn't with a dedicated server unless you outsource / hire employees.
  10. Nice, interesting addon. I like this template: http://zintahost.com/zintapdf/preview_images/preview-screenshots_02.jpg Are you going to keep coming out with PDF design templates or will it remain these 4 for the time being? Good luck with sales.
  11. To answer your query about ModulesGarden and their updates to v6 compatibility, they are working on it and have been since v6 was released (according to their website). They do have a lot of modules for WHMCS so there will be some work and time to test them all and apply any updates as needed. This thread shows the current module v6 compatibility: http://www.forum.modulesgarden.com/news-and-announcements/modules-that-support-whmcs-v6-t2372/ - Sadly Quickbook for WHMCS is not yet on this list though if you create a ticket, hopefully they will tell you where it stands in terms of priority for v6 updates. That'll also give you an idea for their response times also. Once they're compatible with v6, they should last a long time before needing an update as most of the API / backend will remain the same.
  12. I don't know the case here though I am sure they could apply such restrictions on any authorised company (instead of globally) for example, if they're getting to many chargebacks from this industry via 2co. They could have put enough pressure to stop their partnerships (which would cause issues for the majority of their client base) which led to this decision. I know one UK based payment processor who had restrictions specifically applied to them.
  13. Sorry to hear about your experiences with them. In which country are you based in? Stripe is available in the US and many other EU countries (visit stripe.com and a listed of supported countries will appear at the bottom of the page). I would also recommend Stripe as an alternative, the module provided by serverping.net is awesome and is free. Now I could very well be wrong with this but from what I can tell, WHMCS isn't actually a partner of 2co anymore. It seems to just be an affiliate link so WHMCS will get a commission thanks to your business with them. This was different before when 2co had a $45 - $50 signup fee and the WHMCS partnership waived that fee though 2co doesn't charge this anymore. If Stripe isn't available in your region then you could also look into skrill.com.
  14. I'm fairly sure that is what he was implying. +1 To this though, Stripe is amazing and simple and to top it, they make accepting Bitcoin easy. Grateful to the 3rd party developers who have released modules to support Stripe so far though .
  15. Did you get a reason for the license becoming suspended at HostGator?
