Are you sure, that you configured cPanel/WHM correctly in WHMCS admin panel?

$customadminpath needs to be an absolute path not an UR, as you did with the others, like: $downloads_dir = "/home/XXXXX/public_html/client-portal/backoffice/";

What Si said was the best solution, also homepage.tpl in templates folder, shouldn't affect admin panel in any way. Maybe the issue comes from that you are using an older WHMCS version with the latest homepage.tpl with new variables.

I am not sure what is the problem, but have you tried to add: require("init.php"); as it is written in: http://docs.whmcs.com/Creating_Pages

I think you can get the same result with Promotions (Admin Panel -> Setup -> Payments -> Promotion) just select Applies to and Requires field, so when member use the promotion code, he can get that discount if purchased both product.

I haven't used WHMCS for hosting, but I think you can turn on/off additional field at: Admin Panel -> Setup -> General Settings -> Ordering [Tab] -> Allow Notes on Checkout Yes you can hide billing cycle by editing "configureproduct.tpl" inside "public_html/templates/orderforms/YOUR_CHOOSEN_ORDER_FORM_TEMPLATE"

There should be a language file issue, try to check "Admin Panel -> Setup -> General Settings -> Localisation (Tab)" and check what is the language selected there. Than check your language files at hosting under "public_html/lang/" folder.
