  1. In that case I believe it should be possible to disable subscription payments. Why not simply implement that in the new paypal module?
  2. What happens if the invoiced sum changes from time to time? Will the new paypal module manage that? (if subscription is choosen).
  3. We migrated from awbs to whmcs some years ago, it was a time consuming and costly process. Took us 6 months to migrate. We wrote our scripts ourselves, did not use anything from whmcs. Our strategy was to use the WHMCS API as much as possible to do the migration, http://docs.whmcs.com/API. Fetch data from awbs db and feed it to the api to create customers, services etc. Most was possible to do through the API, some needed coding directly to the db, but not much. Some we created manually, the products for example. I believe using the whmcs API is the most robust way to do it.
  4. dediserve have an excellent whmcs module for their resellers.
  5. Yes correct, regarding WHMC it not more difficult than that. The accountant however will have to do some extra work, but that is something else.
  6. Thanks for this nice addon. Very much appreciated that you do not encode it.
  7. Yes we have, it is so shitty and disappointing. According to WHMCS the issue occured with 5.3.3 and it was corrected in 5.3.4/5. However, if you upgraded full to 5.3.3 and incremental to 5.3.5 the error remains. WHMCS has no automatic solution to correct this.Every email template has to be edited manually and updated with the correct 8bit characters. The only shortcut avail is to cut and paste the db values as html to the email tpl editor since the html in the db is corrects. It is a time consuming task, but it has to be done, and meanwhile you look as a fool in front of your csutomers sending them unreadable mails. So far, since a year, we have had not one troublefree upgrade of whmcs.
  8. If you are referring to emails sent out, yes we have had this issue.
  9. Maybe "Invoice Auto Login", https://www.serverping.net/clients/cart.php?gid=3.
  10. The above template we already had as the default from the install, but with this change done, the WHMCS support gave me the following template: {if $expiring_domains}{foreach from=$expiring_domains item=domain}{$domain.name} - {$domain.nextduedate} ({$domain.days} Days) {/foreach}{else}{if $domains}{foreach from=$domains item=domain}{$domain.name} - {$domain.nextduedate} {/foreach}{else}{$domain_name} - {$domain_next_due_date}{/if}{/if} Note the "if" clause after the "else" statement. Seems there are two scenarios where multiple domains are given. Very strange this change has not been communicated clearly after it got implemented and also strange people seem to get different messages about what template to use.
  11. I have to say I have a hard time to understand your attitude, however it does explain a lot. This 5212 to 5213 was a security update. I would assume an urgent one to install. Why should I expect it to break generic things like batch pdf generation (as an example)? I do agree with you that with functional upgrades it should be tested in dev environment, but for security updates, I do not think that should be necessary. I would assume your quality assurance process should catch all issues. We have however learned the hard way we cant rely on your quality assurance and hence use this forum and wht for quality assurance before we install any security patches.
  12. PDF-Batch-does-not-work-with-5-2-13 is a good reason for many. For us it is definitly a stopper to go with 5213. And, "highly insecure version", were did you get that from? Is it highly secure with 5213?
  13. and thread closed. I do not think this is ok at all. As mentioned by others before this is a crucial feature for the monthly accounting. To suggest, as a workaround, to export them one at the time is not particular serious considering there are several of hundreds of invoices each month to declare. I am surprised about the disrespect shown by whmcs.
  14. We are using BIPS, https://bips.me/. They are EU based, founded in Denmark. They claim they are one of the largest payment solution providers within Europe. However, they have an unencoded gw module for WHMCS. The module is easy to understand and to use. They offer transfers to PayPal.
