  1. I am having a brain cramp and need some advice please. Here is my situation. I have a client that is on a hosting plan where the annual cycle is $240. They currently have 70 days left on their cycle. Next Due date shows 5/16/2014. The new plan is $299.40/year. When I go to upgrade with the new plan, it tells me that the Upgrade Total Due is now $11.39. Where is this being calculated from? My calculations add up to a $57.42 difference which I believe should be the correct Upgrade Total Due before and promotion code. There is no credit on their account and I even adjusted the price to match the $240 it was before and it came out to a $0.00 balance. So does anyone know how this is calculated and if this is truly the Total or just a monthly figure or what? My goal is to upgrade them now at no cost and then on their next annual invoice, I would like it to reflect the new package and price. They will most likely want the annual cycle. To complicate it a bit, I am also adding an addon that I have currently set for monthly that needs to be added to the new invoice as well. So do I set everything to 70 days then terminate? Just when I thought I had a handle on the billing system I run into a snag. Thanks in advance.
  2. When I get a request to build a site, I typically will manually create an account in WHM so that I can start building it. Once the client approves the site and I am ready to turn it over to them, I will then go into WHMCS and manually enter the order to start the billing. This seems like I am defeating the purpose of the system. For my latest client I did everything automatically but I do not know what date I should choose for their next due date as I do not know when I will be finished and ready to turn over. Am I missing a "Start Billing" button somewhere? I need the account activated so it builds it out on the server, but do not want it to start billing until I finally enter a 1st bill due date and have it generate the monthly invoices from there. This is probably simple, but I am running on a few hours of sleep now. I think I make things difficult for myself sometimes. Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate! Chris
  3. Under server settings, check to make sure that the SSL box is checked at the bottom. I had the same issue and I am not sure what happened to make the change, but that did it for me.
