  1. Thanks marco, that helped alot. I noticed it started billing me about an hour after I posted, and since then all the domains were renewed correctly. Thanks again.
  2. I found my reseller-club account ran out of funds, but only after a client processed a domain renewal. Hence I received the following email: ==================== An invoice for the renewal of a domain has been paid but the renewal request submitted to the registrar failed. Client ID: 999 Domain ID: 999 Domain Name: blahblah.org Error: Renewal order placed. Renewal action locked in processing; will be automatically processed by the system if / when sufficient funds are available in the reseller account. ==================== Now since this domain is expiring tonight I cannot wait until the next cron job tomorrow (since the domain expires tonight), for it to automatically retry the renewal tomorrow morning. I also checked the docs and there is no flag for domain renewal. Secondly, if I simply hit the renew button in the Clients Profile, I fear that the domain will be automatically renewed a second time tomorrow morning. What system will automatically process the renewal as describe in that email, WHMCS with a cron or Resellerclub? How can I correctly force the renewal today?
  3. I never even considered the apps as a viable alternative. just looking at hte screenshots it was a huge dissapointment. Also doesn't solve the multi-platform issue, a web app, or responsive design is much better. Does anyone have access to the beta section to see if there is anything going on in there? I'd be happy to beta test and modify the code myself. I'm pretty sure its just a theme usinf the jQueryMobile templates, and since admins can select their theme doesn't sound too hard to fix... @WHMCSstaff anybody willing to give me a whirl to fix this thing?
  4. Just had a couple of questions about this: http://www.whmcs.com/addons/mobile-edition/ 1) Version 2.0 Currently in Beta, Is there an estimated release date? 2) are betas full or do I need to buy it first to be part of it? 3) There are some issues loading the "Manage Products/Services" will this be fixed in V2, or is this a limitation on on the demo? 4)Where is the correct forum to discuss this developlement? Thanks, Avid WHMCS user on-the-go
  5. Doesn't this qualify as a bug? (My apologies for not adding the [uNCONFIRMED] prefix, I didn't see it at the time.)
  6. ===========DESCRIPTION=========== Simply when a client merges their invoices, their new outstanding balance becomes the new invoice (which has listed the other invoices as items) and the now merged invoices. The balance shouldn't doube, but from the client's portal it looks like it does. =========STEPS TO REPLICATE========= Client merges invoice from client area. =======ADDITIONAL INFORMATION====== This bug affects both the client area, the admin area and emails sent to the client. This has caused confusion for the client. I am not sure of how to overcoe this problem as keeping the continuous number flow of invoices is very important.
  7. I got the following email, An invoice for the renewal of a domain has been paid and the renewal request was submitted to the registrar successfully. Naturally the invoice was 'paid' because it was a zero value. However the associated service was active but had an outstanding yearly invoice which was unpaid. This means I have paid for a domain renewal, before the account was paid. Perhaps an email could be sent to the client informing them that the domain will expire soon and to renew they simply need to pay their annual hosting fees. I'm not sure why the normal 'the service associated with this domain has not been paid'. I'm running Version: 5.1.3
  8. Sounds like development is holding your app back, if you don't mind me asking what did an app like that cost you to developed(thus far)? I can't developed much but was wondering what Dev costs for this type of solution are these days. Has anyone got something like this developed before? EDIT: is this an admin or client side management app?
  9. Perhaps open a support ticket for the first thing, that isn't how its supposed to work.
  10. Does any one know where to get something like this? Costs, features, ability to change settings? Something my client could download to view invoices etc.
  11. Is it possible to not have credit automatically applied to invoices(General Settings >> Invoices >> Disable Auto Credit Applying), but for only one client? If not I think this would be a great feature. My situation is as follows: Client A has a debit order going off every month, and since its bank to bank, I need to manually check my statement and add the payment to the due invoice for hosting services. Even if it were a credit card recurring payment, the invoice would be generated, then credit added, and the credit card would not be billed (Thats my understanding). However they wish to add credit so that they can order and pay for domains so they are registered as they are ordered, instead of having to make payment each time. Messy solution: While writing this, I realised a not-perfect solution would be to have the client create a new account on WHMCS, add credit to this account, and order domains through this account. It would work, but its rather a messy solution.
  12. As a big whmcs fan, an also not receiving my password here's what i did (that worked for me): Open a support ticket with pre-sales. They will ask for a number of details, URL of admin along with a username and password. (Perhaps create a temporary admin) Check your spam folder. It could be a result of the recent downtime that the WHMCS.COM URL went down in rating, and is now being blocked by certain email suppliers. Their support staff are all wide awake (now especially). A better suggestion would have been to login and change the password yourself, instead of requesting a password reset.
  13. Here Here, these things do happen, but its how we recover that defines us. (and WHMCS for that matter) All the best to Matt and The team!
  14. WOW THANKS!! I ill look at this early next month I just need to get my EPP account sorted out.
  15. I think your module is great but a little overpriced. 200 U.S. dollars = 1*533.14271 South African rands So R50 (Current cost using legacy email system) - the EPP cost R35 Means one = save R15 per domain. However at R1533 for the module, it would take 102 domain purchases until the module is an asset. Just my 2c. Any ideas if WHMCS will ever design an integrated EPP module? (Perhaps buy the rights from Benoit :P)
