  1. Hello All, I am no stranger to WHMCS and have used it for many years, except for the past year and a half so sort of behind on the actual functionality. I am looking to start a new venture and although much has changed about WHMCS it doesn't appear that the list of "Provisioning Modules" have grown much. Although I am sure over time the existing and some of the new modules have had improved functionality and stability, which would explain this. But I am looking for the long run. Although I personally know that it does come down to personal preference and depends on what exactly I am trying to accomplish. So I am aware I may not get the answer I am looking for but I am confident that it would allow me to decide how to move forward. Some things I am looking to for and wondering if there are plans to implement these in the near future are the following: (Please let me know if any similar functionality may exist that I may have over looked in the documentation) 1. Ability to sell specialized Services, for example but not limited to: A. DNS hosting: - In the list of supported modules I didn't see the mention of supporting a DNS system such as CPANEL DNS to allow me to sell purely DNS services for my clients. B. Hosting Account with Preinstalled scripts (Either via Fantastico, softaculous, or other method) - So basically if a client purchases a "Wordpress Hosting Account" from me, the account has wordpress already preinstalled when it is created for the user. Providing them the necessary information in the email template to access it. 2. Closer integration with actual Hypervisors instead of commercial programs used to sell them: - Allowing the ability to sells VPS accounts on systems such as Proxmox, VMWare, XenServer, Xen Cloud Platform, CloudStack, etc.. Without needing to utilize something like SolusVM. 3. Providing the ability to sell items such as dedicated servers: A. Ability to bill for specialized resources such as bandwidth based on the 95th percentile, etc. Maybe perhaps integrating technologies such as Observium or Cacti into the client area. B. SNMP integration to allow clients and staff to enable/disable switch ports and PDU outlets from within WHMCS. I understand that most of the above would probably not be integrated into the core, and might be available as add-ons.. This is perfectly fine with me. I just want to avoid 3rd party WHM developers because I purchased a few scripts from active developers who seemed to vanish months later and I don't want to be stuck with unsupported products. Apologies for my long email, but thank you in advance for any comments, replies, and steps towards the right direction. . Regards.
  2. "$3997.00 USD Setup Fee" is actually the cost of the entire platform not an actual setup fee. The monthly fee is for the subscription to the syndicated content. I will talk to our billing department to see what they can do about separating that or making it less confusing.
  3. lol yea, we were so focused on developing our product and releasing it that we didn't have much time to properly plan out the marketing on the website. We had clients lined up waiting that knew in advance what were going to sell. We sell business directory platforms and syndicated content but have a few wordpress plugins in development. But I completely see what you mean and it is one of the reasons we are planning a redesign on the website to make things pop out more since we have alittle more time to focus on the website since our products have been released. I just looked at your website and it looks really nice, super easy to find all the products. I like!
  4. Thank you . I am actually working on a redesign, any suggestions on things you think I should improve upon?
  5. My main website is a WordPress website. Main website: http://www.visionarylab.com/ Client Area: http://client.visionarylab.com/ The entire website is still a work in progress and I plan to customize the whmcs system a little more as well. Any and all feedback is welcome, for either area of the website. I want to know all that I should do to make it better. Thank you in advance.
  6. How would this affect existing invoices if I disable this?
  7. Also relating to the above, I have no idea why the client received a payment confirmation as paid from the system.... I looked in the "Gateway Transaction Log" and can not find anything relating to the payment. Have no idea how to go about this.
  8. 1. If I log into the whmcs admin and browse a client, then click on the invoices tab to view all his invoices. 2. When I click on a invoice # such as 123 to view it, the invoice page itself states in the header Invoice #555, but within the details it says invoice #123. 3. If I use the intelligent search and type in 123, it shows that specific invoice as belonging to a completely different client than step 2. The reason we found out about this issue is because when we contacted one of our clients for payment, he claimed he made the payment and sent us the email confirmation on it. We are however still unable to verify his payment transaction in paypal. While creating the support ticket to WHMCS i was going through the steps to see the error, and noticed this issue exists for every single one of my clients. Invoice #'s are just not matching up. -------- Side note: I contacted support and gave them ftp info and admin login information, but I mean.. this is a live website with live clients and sensitive information. Should I give them so much access, is my client data safe(as in security wise and data wise), I've never had to contact them before so I'm not sure what precautions if any I should take or even how they treat or handle sensitive information. Any advice, comments suggestions on how this may have occurred, how to prevent it from happening again, and about giving whmcs access is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  9. Thank you for the reply. I was looking for linking to specific pages on my website instead of linking to product pages in WHMCS... since my website has more detail and information.. it is better for marketing and showing the person exactly what they are buying.
  10. Hello, Currently when going to an affiliate link, it takes the user to the home page of the website. However, I want my affiliates to be able to link to specific product pages on my main website(not the shopping cart). This way they can create relevant and direct promotional material on their website, instead of mentioning our products and forcing their visitors who click on the link to browse our website to find the products. Anyone know how I would go about doing this? Thank you in advance.
