  1. Hi @SamS1, Clients can add credit card details via the Payment Methods page to be stored in the PayPal Vault in advance for use by the PayPal Card Payments module. That is not possible for payments via PayPal accounts for use by the PayPal Payments module; clients need to place an order or pay an invoice to link their PayPal account for future charges via the PayPal Payments module.
  2. Hi @jmedinger, This isn't an error we've received other reports about. It could be caused by a customisation specific to your instance of WHMCS. Please can you ensure there are no customisations present on your installation as these can often change the way WHMCS operates. These are typically located in the /includes/hooks and /modules/ directories Once the issue is resolved you can add them back one-by-one until the problem begins again - at which point you have identified the troublesome customisation and can contact the vendor directly for assistance resolving the problem in their code. If the problem persists after that, please open a ticket with technical support so we can access your WHMCS instance and investigate further: https://www.whmcs.com/submit-a-ticket/
  3. Hi @edumac, Thanks for the screenshot. So this is the "Add Payment" tab. Please follow the steps in this guide to identify the underlying error: https://help.whmcs.com/a/1312423-an-error-occurred-while-communicating-with-the-server-please-try-again#php-fatal-error
  4. Hi @edumac, Is this the Add Payment tab, or the Credit tab? Which admin theme are you using?
  5. Hi @edumac, Can you provide some step-by-step replications steps for this please? For example, which interface are you using? Are you adding a credit or applying a transaction etc?
  6. WHMCS doesn't currently provide a way to mass-cancel PayPal Subscriptions. Deleting/deactivating the app in the PayPal Developer site would probably stop the webhook notifications being sent by PayPal at-all. I don't think it would cancel the Subscriptions. That is something PayPal Technical Support are better placed to confirm for you.
  7. Hi @SilverShotHD, After upgrading to 8.9 please follow the instructions to migrate to Universal Prompt, and enter your API keys using the new Web SDK method: https://docs.whmcs.com/DuoSecurity
  8. Thanks for the reports everyone. This has been raised with the admins to be investigated. Strangely I'm not experiencing the issue at present, so it does seem to be somehow intermittent or at-least not impacting everybody.
  9. Hi @websavers, We recommend following the steps in the PayPal Payments migration guide to ensure that subscription payments established via the now-deprecated PayPal modules continue to be processed: https://help.whmcs.com/m/troubleshooting/l/1782851-migrating-to-paypal-payments If one did not follow those steps and instead deactivated the PayPal/PayPal Basic module, I've addressed your questions in-line: Clients do not get a warning about this. The company will receive the funds from PayPal, but it will not be recorded by WHMCS. A "Module Not Active" type error will be logged to the WHMCS System Log. One could potentially add some instructions to this effect in the Invoice Created and/or Invoice Overdue Notice email templates. It could also be conditional on there being a subscription ID present on the service record: {if $invoice_subscription_id} Follow these steps to migrate to the awesome new PayPal Payments gateway. {/if}
  10. Hi @SamRudd1152, This indicates those ad-hoc addons were orphaned. The service to which the addon belongs must have been deleted without first removing the addon. These orphaned records can be recovered by associating it with an active service under the client's account: UPDATE `tblhostingaddons` SET `hostingid` = 'x' WHERE addonid = 'y'; Replace x with the value of a tblhosting.id value of one of the client's active services. Replace y with the tblhostingaddons.addonid value(s) of the orphaned addons. As always, before making changes to the database, please backup.
  11. Hi @SamRudd1152, Please can you run this query and share the result? SELECT * FROM `tblhostingaddons` WHERE `hostingid` NOT IN (select id from tblhosting); Take care to remove any PII before sharing the output publicly here.
  12. Hi @hmaddy, I did a quick test from here and the Addons tab on the client's product details screen and the View Available Addons link in the shopping cart are both working fine. Can you please provide some more information about the problem you're experiencing?
  13. Hi @SamRudd1152, This error is related to a product addon. Does this client have a particular product addon under one of the products/services in their account, that others do not?

    An issue has been identified in the 8.9.0 release, published on 6th March 2024, that can cause an error after completing Duo two factor authentication when accessing the admin area: error: invalid_grant error_description: invalid redirect URI '/whmcs/admin/dologin.php'
