  1. Hello, We have had lots of work and haven't been able to squeeze some time in our schedule to update our systems until now. I have a question though, How do I update from 5.1.3 to latest release (5.2.4), do I have to do something special? I can see there are release for version 5.1.4, 5.1.6 and so on. Regards,
  2. Personally, I found the software they provide to be really good. And since this is a "partner" type program, you have to deal with clients that don't know much about computers, their software is easy to install, easy to set up tasks, easy to restore and the client (once tasks are set up) doesn't need to mess with the software anymore unless he wants something specific. Basically the user forgets the software is installed, and with WHMCS you can create invoices per month or per year term, you as a partner, pay only for the used GB of server CAL's (if you are self hosted). Right now the prices went up a bit for minimum invoices, but they give you a 2 month no-minimum and free private label to get you started, Right now I can say that after a month, we are able to pay the minimum monthly fee and our costumers seem pretty satisfied.
  3. I would definitely love this feature too. Currently I had to make tons of packages for different User Quotas.
  4. Yes, that's what I did, I had to reissue the license and I could login now, I manually updated all emails and domain redirections from "example.com" to "domain.com" also created cron jobs in Cpanel. Thanks for the help.
  5. So I got Cpanel on my new server but I changed the domain, instead of "example.com" no is called "domain.com", I copied the entire whmcs folder from example.com to domain.com and I also imported the database. It works but when I log in, the submits send me to "example.com", is there anything I can do to update the main domain? or will I have to re-install everything and just get some tables from the database to import all of the invoices, packages, clients and all that? Thank you!
  6. Thanks, I'm not using Cpanel though. any more steps?
  7. I'm sure this has been posted before but I couldn't find anything after a few minutes searching the forum. Is there a step-by-step guide on what you should do when migrating your install and database to another server? I know that I will need to backup the database and any customized files, but is there anything else? what about the IP of the server?, do I have to create a ticket asking support to change it? I don't want support to do it for me, by the way. Thanks for the responses.
  8. Re-downloaded the patch and updated the file dbconnection.php, fixed my issues with the error.
  9. Hello, I've come to a point where I have multiple servers from different countries, and multiple reseller plans from different countries also. Some of them charge me in GBP, others in EUR and others in USD, my issue here is that for example, for a dedicated server I offer to some of my clients I have to pay say EUR$100, and I charge say MXN$1700.00 (not considering my gain), every day I have to check the conversion values cause some days I have to charge MXN$1780, others MXN$1850, MXN$1920, MXN$1635, prices vary a lot so I can't put up a price and hope to heavens that it won't change that much. What I've done is to set up as main currency MXN, so every other currency gets converted to their appropriate value, that is ok for things I know how much are gonna cost to me in MXN, but what happens when I need to base a product, say Dedicated Server that cost me EUR$100.00 and charge it in MXN? I've tried setting the Product at EUR$100 and everything else on 0 but when I apply the conversion pricing, the product goes to EUR$0.00 cause I have the base currency at MXN$0.00. Is there a way to do this? other than me having to check the daily currency exchange and update the prices on all my dedicated servers/products bought in other currencies? Maybe I'm missing something, because to me this is something that should be out of the box, like, "what is the main currency of the product" and select it between the currencies you have available, and of course this is a different topic than choosing your main currency. Thank you!
  10. 200 dolares se me hace demasiado por algo que te debería de dar Registry gratis, no quieren vender? o solamente le venden a los monopolios? o quizá sean "compadres" con suempresa?. Voy a intentar hacer el modulo. Saludos!
  11. Thanks, I will try that and see how it works! One question though, the p.currency = 1 is the ID of the currency?
  12. Thanks herrZ, will try this tomorrow and post back my result.
  13. Well, since I use two currencies, USD and MXN, being MXN the primary, in tblpricing I have 6 records for each domain (domainregister, domaintransfer, domainrenew), and I have two currency id's 1(MXN) and 3(USD) and one relid 1(.com) maybe there is where the confusion starts. When I specifically change the query's "INNER JOIN tblcurrencies AS c ON c.id = t.currency" to "INNER JOIN tblcurrencies AS c ON c.id = 1" I get: [.com] => Array ( [domainregister] => Array ( [id] => 1 [tld] => .com [type] => domainregister [code] => MXN [suffix] => MXN [msetupfee] => 0.00 <---- Should be 139.00 ) But as you can see, it keeps grabbing the msetupfee of the USD currency.. which right now I have set to 0.00. The strange thing here is that.. I see nowhere in the query an input of currency so by default, it should grab id # 1, If I debug the page I get on $currency Array (6) id => 1 code => MXN prefix => $ suffix => MXN format => 1 rate => 1.00000 So the issue here is the query probably not being thought to handle different currencies, I'll probably will have to look into it a bit more to see what the issue is here. Thanks for the reply though
