  1. Hi all, Please, I have a client who has at least 100 domains registered with us. For this reason, we are giving him a special discount both for new orders and renewals. This means that the price he pays per domain is lower than our advertised value (automated into our system). This client does not want us to be manually applying the discount and is asking if this can be automated such that he can do registrations and renewals on the fly without informing us first. Is there a way to customize prices for this client only on WHMCS? Many thanks for any ideas
  2. Wdriver's solution #11 above solved it for me
  3. Problem solved. The issue of "can't open file" has nothing to do with WHMCS. It was a custom domain registry module I was using. After upgrading WHMCS and re-uploading those custom domain module files, I failed to set the correct file permissions. All OK now. Thanks.
  4. Hello, I'll appreciate if someone can help me out here. Since yesterday, whenever a client (or I through admin) try to view domain details, there is a blank page with the error "Can't open file". I have $display_errors = true; in configuration.php but no other error is outputed. Also, if I click on a domain to see it's details, I get a partially loaded (white) page with some domain details. I have made no change to my setup and this (apparently random) error began less than 24 hours ago. I'm running the latest WHMCS version, updated a week ago. Thanks for any ideas.
  5. For the benefit of anyone else who may be having this problem, may we assume (from jacobkball above and from this post http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=25441&highlight=domain+expire) that the solution is: Check that the Due Date and Expiry Dates are correct Right?
  6. I support this - which will come in useful for those Payment Processors that charge fees that you want the client to bear.
  7. Thank you John. I opened a ticket and the only advice I got was this: "It looks like your files have corrupted when being moved. You would need to try reuploading all the files you are having an error with," That did not solve it. What solved it? Apparently when I did a backup of MySQL, tables were either not imported correctly or there were mis-matches of some sort. I re-installed WHMCS, allowed it to create default tables, did another MySQL backup from old site and ran it on the new installation. Everything is ok now. Thanks.
  8. Hi, I'll be grateful if anyone can help me. I moved my installation from a Centos5 VPS to an Ubuntu machine last night. I have updated the database with an old backup I had. So far everything seem ok. My client list has been re-populated here and my access login as well. However, I have been trying to update my modules, especially the ones that require that you enter username and password. I get the entry fields all right, and then I enter, but when I click "Submit", it tells me data has been updated successfully, but the fields come up blank again. This is preventing me from setting up: - Domain Registrars - Payment Gateways - Domain pricing (it does not keep the entries after I click Submit) etc. Anybody has any idea why? Thanks, Eugene
  9. If it's any consolation to anyone, this exact same issue has been happening to me for the past 3 days. I don't think it's a browser issue (I've used Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera); it's not a PC issue (I've tried different computers); It's not an IP issue (Staff in other countries experience the same). I run on a Centos5 VPS. I reboot, I power-cycle, hosting support help me, no luck! Eventually, last night I bought a new VPS and this time chose UBUNTU. So far, no problem. I'm now in the process of setting up everything again.
  10. There is no associate Gateway files in /modules/gateways. If the gateway name is worldpay, then worldpay.php must exist.
  11. Hello Sorry If I miss. Are there any programmer's Guide or SDK for WHMCS that describes more than http://wiki.whmcs.com/API:About ? Thank you.
  12. @SiteSeal-Developer, relax, ok? You're doing good IMO. Your only "crime" if any is that your templates are not yet ready. Perhaps you should have waited until they were ready and then post 1 or 2 for downloads. Then there would be no problem putting a link to your site for people who wish, to get more. So, don't go away. What you're doing is noble. True, not everyone will offer things for free (and there's no crime in wanting to make money either), so let's give those who think otherwise some rope. Take it easy on him guys.
  13. Good idea yes, but it's not ready. Maybe original poster should keep us posted when everything is working, otherwise you may lose the goodwill this has gathered. I'll check back MUCH later. Thanks!
  14. Download is not yet possible, is it? I've been trying without luck.
