  1. Seems like a simple method would be send a client with a shopping cart link http://demo.whmcs.com/cart.php?a=view Except this link would contain each product, configurable options, and promotion already setup. I would add a button, "Download Quote" that would just PDF the shopping cart contents. Add ability to change or customize the title "Quote to Order" or whatever Add ability to change or customize the button "Checkout" or "Accept Order" or whatever And a hidden button, only available to Sales/Admin groups that says "Email this Shopping Cart" or "Direct Link for this Shopping Cart loaded" If anyone wants to help us, we'd be interested in sponsor or custom development.
  2. Quoting existing clients makes sense and seems simple, however for NEW CLIENTS, sending a quote has no ACTION for the client Does the client reply back to the sales rep, call on the phone, etc. It seems that there should be a way to for a NEW client to accept a quote automatically, where then it steps thru a new user registration, by collecting items that are not already on the quote, Ie, credit card payment info, address if incomplete etc. Another idea, on the footer of the quote, place "WHMCS DIrect Links" to the shopping cart with the products in the quote. Something that says, "To accept and complete this quote, click this link and register your account." However this is very manual intensive to figure out the correct direct link, and also if you sell more than one product how to you send a link for that? It seems that we need an "email shopping cart" button. Or When setting up the quote it creates all the necessary direct links with configurable options, promotions, additional items. There are others that have something similar: Dell ecomm.dell.com/dellstore/qto_retrieve.aspx?&action=QTO&STSQTO=1& Quosal - tracks and gives updates, reminders, etc. quosal.com/ Does anyone have any insight as a simple and easy way to provide automation from quote, order, registration, setup?
  3. I am curious, when working with a client are most of you sending them a quote or directing them to a pre-filled out shopping cart? Seem like like it would be nice to track sent shopping carts or have the ability to get a link of a pre-filled shopping cart. Any thoughts?
