  1. I've had a "traditional" merchant account from my bank, Wells Fargo that I use with Authorizenet. I've had this set up for 15 years + now. Any reason to use something like 2Checkout or Quantum Gateway as an alternative? Will I be saving money?
  2. No answer, hmmm. Well I've been calling Varilogix for the last 2 days and have yet to be able to reach a human being. Are they still in business? They won't even call me back.
  3. I'm thinking about moving from Maxmind to Varilogix. Recently I've had several legitimate orders flagged as fraud for one reason or another and I get the feeling that I'm losing out on legitimate orders on a regular basis. Varilogix looks like it has a lot of options, but I can't really afford their AFIS Pro add-on, so I'm thinking of going for phone verification only. Anyone using this and finding it sufficient for their anti-fraud needs?
  4. Something must've broken for me in the last update. The domain lookup works correctly and returns a page saying "[domainname] is available" along with an order button. But then clicking on the order button just takes me to the "choose a package" portion of the order form and then to the next page asking for a domain name. I guess it's different now because I'm using the cart for the first time, but shouldn't clicking on the order button "load" the domain name into the cart and show that to me somewhere visually?
  5. Anyone here using WHMCS integrated with Wordpress?
  6. I'm thinking of buying a license for an SEO and website submission services site I am launching. Anyone using WHMCS for something similar? Can you show me?
  7. This is my "beef" with this process and maybe I'm the only one. A non-hosting customer needs to first go to register.php which contains language specific to a prospective hosting customer, i.e. "Please enter the password that you wish to use to login to your XXXXXX Client Area. This will differ from your website control panel username & password.", then they also need to agree to the hosting TOS before being registered just to become an affiliate. Is there any workaround for this? How does everyone else deal with this? I suppose I can modify the lang file, but I can't get rid of their having to agree to the hosting TOS, can I?
  8. Is there any way to combine register.php and affiliates.php so that non-hosting clients could register and sign up as an affiliate in one fell swoop?
  9. Yes! Thank you so much. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I feel much better having a separate user agreement for the Affiliates program.
  10. I just need to get the javascript bits to work, so it "forces" the user to check the box. Perhaps I can pilfer a bit from elsewhere as Brett's code doesn't seem to work for me.

    EPP Keys

If this is enabled, does the order not get processed until the customer enters the EPP key? We use Enom and they require an EPP key, but I'm wondering if this is a possible deterrent to some signups, or if they're given the option to enter it after paying the invoice and having their account setup.
  12. Thanks for your help, but neither of these seem to work. If I change the code, then the "activate affiliate" button does nothing. There is also no alert that I can see if the box is unchecked.
  13. I need a little help here. I'm trying to modify affiliatessignup.tpl so that I can have a second affiliates-specific TOS that must be agreed to before anyone can signup as an affiliate. Here's what I've got so far: {if $affiliatesystemenabled} <p>{$LANG.affiliatesintrotext}</p> <ul> <li>{$LANG.affiliatesbullet1} {$bonusdeposit}</li> <li>{$LANG.affiliatesearn} <strong>{$payoutpercentage}</strong> {$LANG.affiliatesbullet2}</li> </ul> <p>{$LANG.affiliatesfootertext}</p> <br /> <p><input type="checkbox" name="accepttos" id="accepttos"> <label for=accepttos>{$LANG.ordertosagreement} <a href="/affiliatetos.html"}" target="_blank">{$LANG.affiliatetos}</a></label>.<p> <p align="center"><input type="button" value="{$LANG.affiliatesactivate}" onclick="window.location='affiliates.php?activate=true'" /></p> {else} <p>{$LANG.affiliatesdisabled}</p> {/if} This gets me everything I need except "forcing" the client to agree to the TOS before activating themselves as an affiliate. How can I make that happen?
  14. That sounds pretty good. I'll have to check them out. I would imagine that there isn't a large percentage of fraudulent orders from people who submit in their real phone numbers.
  15. I haven't even looked into any alternatives. Does Varilogix integrate as well and easily with WHMCS? Do they have a phone verification service as well? How's the pricing compared to Maxmind?
