Question on product plan setup & monthly payment
espinozj replied to espinozj's topic in Using WHMCS
Excellent, thank you Sir! J. -
Hey Everyone, So I'm tweaking my WHMCS installlation...and I run into this area: WHMCS Admin ==>> General Settings ==>> Mail ==>> Client Email Footer Content I realize that this is pretty nifty, especially for marketing aspects, so I start tweaking it and running a few tests. I also notice that it states that it accepts 'HTML'. So I jump in DreamWeaver and create a pretty bad-ass footer for my email messages. When I copy/paste the HTML code into the Field and try to Save Changes...I get the following error message: ---------------------------- Forbidden You don't have permission to access /central_admincenter/configgeneral.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ---------------------------- Now keep in mind...I can type in and do other cool tweaks in this area...save changes with no problems and I'm fine. It's just when pasting this DreamWeaver HTML5 code and try to save changes...that it generates this error. I'm tempted to just manually download/edit and re-upload 'configgeneneral.php', however I don't want to break anything. Any ideas? Thank you, J.

Hey Everyone, Are there any specific things I need to know when using CloudFlare with my WHMCS Client Area? I thought everything was going fine. Now, for some reason...although the browser still shows http://HTTPS://MyWHMCSIntallation.com/clientarea.php ... and there is no red slash through it...it is missing however the 'Green Lock'. Note: I'm NOT using a Self-signed Cert, but rather this has a legit SSL Cert installed from RapidSSL. Any recommendations? Thanks! J.

Hey Gents, So here's my question: I'm trying to setup a product plan, whereby the customer will pay an introductory discounted/lower price for the first month, then automatically pay a higher/regular price every month afterwards. Is this possible within WHMCS? If so, how would I implement this? I was thinking that we just setup the product plan for the regular monthly payment price, however upon check out, a 'promo code' or something like that would be applied? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you, J.

Hey Everyone, One more item that I need clarification on. When I go to this link here: http://docs.whmcs.com/Bank_Transfer It talks about 'duplicating' a module and using that for me to enter and provide my Bank / Wire transfer information to customers. Right now in WHMCS, there is already a Bank Transfer module. So are these two the same exact thing...and the module was already created for me? Thanks! J.

Aaah ok, I see now!!! Thank you so much for your clarification! Ok, for those of you who have experience with either this module or Bank Transfers...isn't it risky at all to expose your Bank Routing and Account #? Or is it safe because only deposits are going to be made/received rather than taken out? Also, is there any prep work that has to be done where I need to advise my Bank that this will take place? Thanks! J.

Hey Brian, Yes, I had read this prior to posting, but I wasn't sure if this was the only way or at least, the preferred way? Does this 'blank module' of sorts merely provide a space/field for a customer to input their Bank Routing/Account information? Or does it actually work in such a way where the money actually gets transferred automatically/

Hello Everyone, I'm brand-new to WHMCS so please excuse this newbie question: What is the best or most recommended way to setup 'Bank Transfer' or 'Bank ACH Transfer' as a payment method for WHMCS? Is there actuallly a module for this? Thank you! J.

Team, I'm hoping that someone can provide some guidance for me regarding the issues that I'm experiencing. I recently upgraded to version 6.01. Here are the issues: 1. - As soon as I login, at the very top I see a few spinning items with a red error of some sort...but they never stop spinning. You can see the image here: http://i.imgur.com/ofOMW5Y.png 2. - Also, I was trying to 'activate' one of my inactive/disabled Administrator Accounts. After I uncheck the 'Disabled' check box and enter my password, I get a PHP error. Please see here: PHP Error: http://i.imgur.com/rZ0nUVy.png Thank you, J.

OWNCLOUD MODULE for WHMCS - 60 % OFF Weekend Offer
espinozj replied to WGS's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
WGS, Thank you for responding. Can you please explain a bit further, what it means when you state that your provisioning module supports multiple servers, but your addon module doesn't fully support it yet? Also, will the current version of the ownCloud WHMCS Module support the upcoming version of ownCloud v.8.1? Thanks! J. -
