I need someone that knows hes ways around WHMCS to write a custom provisioning module for me.
It will have basic operations:

- Create
- Update
- Terminate

The is available in both, json and xml and is well documented.
You may test the module on your own WHMCS installation. I will provide a demo account on the api.

I need this done ASAP.

Thanks in advance;

Anyone have any idea what happened to the beta? It opened about a month ago, at the start I was receiving regular emails from Mailman, got it installed and have been testing but noticed the Mailman list has been removed and I've heard nothing past the initial beta release.

Was the beta discussion moved somewhere else and I've missed the announcement or has simply nothing happened?

Hello,

At the moment we have a client who want's to have full mobile and also desktop integration with its email service. In a simple way he want's to have all its information synchronized between its:

- Desktop Mail Application (Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail)
- Phone (Android and iPhone)
- Webmail

At the moment this client is hosted on a standard Linux, cPanel server with Roundcube as webmail interface so he his using IMAP on its desktop and also phone, but as said before he needs more information to be synchronized, so besides emails he also needs:

- Contacts
- Calendar
- Notes

After i beed researching i have found that want the client wants is something similar to what Microsoft Exchange offers, and i also found the following products from Rackspace Email and Atmail that have that kind of features as you can see at:

http://www.rackspace.com/apps/email_...n_your_mobile/
http://atmail.com/features

But the problem with the above two solution is that they are paid and commercial solutions and i'm looking to find a open-source / free solution that i can add and install on my existing server who allows me to offer a service with similar synchronization features like Rackspace Email or Atmail.

Another option will be to buy a new server just to be a email server but anyway, what should i install to have full mobile, desktop and webmail sync.

So regarding this does anyone has any kind of advice or suggestion?

Thanks and Regards

I am so getting the hump of the pass the buck attitude and complete lack of support from ENOM.

I asked a simple question "why is WHOIS not updating for domain XXX".

A. Please direct your question to your reseller. (I'm not with WHMCS BTW but a competitor I won't mention)

So I open a ticket with the same Q. with my direct reseller who say they have opened a ticket with ENOM.

No answer for days, so I chase it up and they say they have chased it up.....

Many more days nothing, so I turn again to ENOM and complain that going though my direct reseller is not helping. They lie to me and say "They opened up a ticket with us today which was answered today. Please continue to work with them on this issue.".

Anyway now they say "If you are not happy with the service they are providing (reseller) you may look into becoming a direct reseller with us."

Yeah but it will cost 6K and I will still be left with dumb arse, lying support people who don't give a f**k about their customers.

Luckily I no longer register new domains with ENOM. (Just have a legacy bunch of domain with them) and I am now a happy customer of OPENSRS who offered me a FREE 9$ reseller account which actually works and where the support staff so far have been excellent.

I do hope ENOM read this and start to buck up their ideas because I can see a lot of people moving away if it continues.

Hi

Does anyone know what the services are called, or of any companies which we could provide access to who could answer our support tickets within 30 mins 24/7? It would be to deal with Joomla component issues, content additions, general IT support (for software), Joomla web development (where appropriate), just generally deal with technical support requests that come in. If they can't deal with them, then flag them to our tech guys. We are just swamped and want to look at out sourcing some of this tech support.

Of course we could setup access rights so nothing could be deleted etc, and wouldn't want them contacting our clients bar via the WHMCS system. Do these sorts of things exist?

Many thanks in advance.

Greetings!

As I've been watching the forums for a while gathering insight, I wanted to take a few minutes and officially introduce myself to everyone here on the forums.

Since the partnership between cPanel & WHMCS, Myself, along with other members from the cPanel team have been working with WHMCS to get the support queue where it should be. As I look now, it's actually down 1000% from where it was three months ago, but we've still admittedly have a ways to go.

We've also been working with Matt and the rest of the team at WHMCS to learn from each other, as well as bring tools and operational techniques to not only the Support Department, but to WHMCS as well which a bit of should be revealed shortly.

Personally, I've been working in the Web Hosting Industry for many years now. For Web Hosting companies, cPanel, and now working with WHMCS. I'm always happy to help and share information, and in return I'm anxious to learn more from you.

So with this introduction I also extend an open invitation to discuss with me anything you'd like in this post, message me directly either here, or through the WHMCS Support Queue, or the cPanel queue for that matter - good or bad.

Best Regards,
