I was hoping it would make accounts for each client that I had already setup in WHM.

Just curious now that it succeeded, what to do now? (Fairly new setup, but really new whmcs - no clients :))

Here are few of the issues we've found with the latest MB v4 import script:

- There is major issue when importing from two modernbill systems to WHMCS if the client IDs are the same. It will cause major problems with duplicated invoices / packages and domains not setting up properly.

- Passwords are imported in some strange format, they are not usable.

- The client default currency is not set based on the imported MB installation (it is always USD).

I want to make a custom import script for my current custom billing system into WHMCS.
I dont want to use WHMCS services because they gave me an estimate (after a week of back and forward emailing) and
1) They are too expensive
2) They are going to take too long to make it

My question is as follows:
Do I have to use the WHMCS API to insert clients/invoices/etc or can I just manually insert my data into the DB?

I cant imagine the API doing anything special in terms of clients/invoices/products?
