Orderform - configuredomains.tpl - Nominet domains

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has produced some better form validation for Nominet domains on the "configure domains" page.

Currently if you choose a registrant type that requires a company number, you can leave the company number empty - which will cause the registration to fail. I'm also struggling to find a way to add extra text to this form, or in fact modify the form at all. There are no TLD or registrar specific sections in the template. Is the Nominet configuration form hard coded, or does it appear in a file somewhere that I've missed?

Also, I notice on this page that for each domain, whether it is a transfer or a registration, it simply lists the domain and then the number of years- i.e mydomain.com 1 Year/s. I'd like to change this to say Domain Registration mydomain.com 1 Year/s or Domain Transfer mydomain.com 1 Year/s. Can anyone possibly help me with the correct syntax to use in an IF statement to differentiate between a transfer and a registration in order to display that text?

WordPress blog only visible to login customers?

Hello,

I would like to add a WordPress blog that only my logged in customers can see after they sign into WHMCS. For security purposes, I don't want the blog to share any WHMCS credentials. Is there a way to do this? I'm assuming adding some code to the top of the WordPress template and installing it under the main WHMCS directory. But am not sure how to go about that.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to set a minimum

I would like to set the initial price at 0 but have the customer choose among many paid options. The condition is that the order go through the payment page (or step 3) only if a minimum $ threshold is passed.

Anybody sees how I could accomplish this in the simplest and WHMCS update proof way?

I paid someone to create a hook that will change the nameservers of a domain of it is upgraded to a hostingpackage so the right nameservers belonging to the hostingserver gets attached.

Unfortunatly it does not work and the person in question needs weeks if not months for every reply and is not helpfull at all.
He's got the money so is probably not interested anymore.

I found the hook in /includes/hooks
When I try to make it run by turning a domainregistration into a hostingaccount nothing happens.
The nameservers are not changed and I can't find a trace of the hook in any log I look.
So eighter the script is not working or hooks alltogether are not working.

This is the code, I hope someone can shine some light on it so I can stop manually changing namservers ;)

WHMCS Cron Job Activity - Showing zero activity

Hello all,

A bit of a weird one this.....

I have WHMCS installed on a Windows Server....no issues at all and been like it for nearly a year without a fault due to the Win installation. I enabled the WHMCS Cron Job Activity email sending recently and noticed that each email shows zero invoices and other stats created even though there have been.

I have checked WHMCS logs as well as WSP (WebsitePanel) and neither show any warnings or errors whatsoever. WHMCS log shows the following for this mornings activity:

This is only a start-out server so some really are zero but others should show data especially the created invoices.

Product Custom Field, how to retrieve?

Hi,

I'm working on a provisioning module which rely on information chosen by the client during the order. I see that the custom fields are in the tblcustomfields and tblcustomfieldsvalues, but I don't know how they relate to tblhosting or tblorder (or similar).

For example, when viewing the customers order, whmcs does 'SELECT value FROM tblcustomfieldsvalues WHERE fieldid='1' AND relid='2''. I can't find any documentation reference that explains the "relid", so I can properly tie an order with the choosen custom field values chosen by the client.

Can you please refer me to documentation that explains the connection, or if simple just tell me how it works?

PayPal Integration Questions

Hello all,

While I am making a final decision on which main payment gateway to use I have setup a business PayPal account and enabled the PayPal Gateway within WHMCS.

I have configured it and sure enough when making a purchase through the portal is forwards to the PayPal payment page...which is good! However here are my questions:

1) How do I configure it so after the payment the client is taken back to my site payment portal?

2) When the client is taken to the payment page there is no choice to pay just by card WITHOUT creating a PayPal account or logging into an existing one...how can I set this to have an option to just pay with a card without worrying about an account?

3) How do I create a real test purchase going through PayPal to make sure it all works after sorting out the above?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Invalid Token Error

Whenever I try to update my settings, send a ticket, etc I get an "Invalid Token" message. I have researched this message online and have found no working solutions. I have already increased my Max Post Size. What else can I do to fix this? I am hosting my WHMCS on a Godaddy Deluxe Linux Shared Hosting Plan. Any help is greatly appreciated!

New Twitter API issue...

Hi, I'm having a problem integrating the new twitter timeline widget in the footer of my WHMCS site.

This works fine in a plain HTML page, but not inside WHMCS. The widget code consists of a hyperlink tag and a javascript tag. The javascript is as follows...

In WHMCS, viewing the javascript console - this comes up as a syntax error - it is as if WHMCS is stripping out some of the javascript...

In a normal HTML page, inspecting the surrounding div with firebug shows that the hyperlink tag has correctly changed into an iframe with the twitter feed in. The script tag contains the full javascript above. With WHMCS it shows the hyperlink in its raw state and the script tag only contains the following...

Logo in PDF invoice problem

I have a problem getting clear & crisp logo in the header of the PDF invoice file.
Whatever I tried to change (size, format, dpi) the logo comes out blurred and completely unprofessional.

I couldn't find any BEST PRACTICE tips for custom logo implementation so PLEASE give us some hints about how to get the fine looking logo in our PDF invoices.

I would think that it's as easy as putting it in an if statement but can't seem to figure it out.
