As WHMCS & the WHMCS Community continue to grow, we've decided to move over to a new WHMCS Feature Request Community. The new WHMCS Feature Request Community focuses on empowering users, accurate voting, and helps align user submitted Feature Requests with future WHMCS Releases.

Please take a moment to read through the description here .

It's effort to bring the entire WHMCS community and forums up to speed on where these comments and proposed new Feature Requests should be being posted, we've set the Feature Request forum area into Ready Only mode as of today.

Additionally, we've setup a Single Sign on feature between the forums, and the new Feature Request System as well. In other words, if you're logged into these forums right now, visiting this link should show that you're already logged into the new system over there and ready to go, no need to register!
WHMCS Feature Request Community

If you've got any questions or concerns about this specific area being set to Read Only, and you've got a thread in here you want moved out for further discussion, please do feel free to contact me via private messaging and I'll be happy to assist with this.

Welcome to the all new, WHMCS Feature Request Community!

Why it's not possible to translate/modify the ticket open by affiliates upon withdraw request?

Also : why it's not possible to translate/modify the email the ip monitoring tool send if a device is down?

There are no reasons for this to be in English only : Please, whmcs don't forget many of your customers are using your software to deliver hostings services in other languages!

Please give us the freedom to translate everything that cannot be translated right now! Doesn't look professionnal otherwise!

Hello to everyone,

I just want to raise some issue with regards to WHMCS security. I have realised (quite late) that the passwords corresponding to cpanel accounts are stored as text (not encrypted) in both client area and admin area.

Imagine for example that somehow your WHMCS security is breached, that would cause a chaos to all your servers.

In the meantime, I wonder if there are any other security measures that can be taken with regards to this.

Thank you

I have searched through the forum and online for a solution to this, but can't find one anywhere. If anyone else knows of a way to do this, it would be greatly appreciated.

By default, all my monthly invoices are sent out 2 weeks (14 days) before they're due. This works fine for most of my clients. However, some clients would like to receive their invoices one month before due, so that they can process them through their accounting systems in time to pay them - is there any way to customise how far in advance automated invoices are sent on a 'per-client' basis?

If not, I think that this feature would be great in a future release of WHMCS - or if anyone knows how to write an addon to do this, I would be willing to pay for it (though from searching through developer docs, I can't see a way to do so as of yet...?)

Thanks very much

As an example i will take ID Protection.

Some domain registrars dont offer free ID Protection. Namecheap offers ID Protection free just for the first year.

Currently there is no way to control prices of domain addons. (Except manually to edit client invoice, but that`s not a solution.

It would be nice if u can implement that feature in next whmcs releases.

I'll just copy / paste from a ticket I submitted:

**

I manually added new orders (4) for one client. I then added manually one invoice per order. Then, automatically whmcs created a NEW invoice #xxx which included ALL 4 invoices unpaid, while the other 4 are still there, also unpaid. Why does whmcs do this? It's pointless, confusing and stupid.

#2
I just notice that one of the 4 invoices was already paid yesterday but not updated/marked so in the automatically created one whmcs made of the 4. This is so absurd when it comes to accounting / auditing

#3
4 invoices were included, one of them was paid while other 3 were not and the one whmcs created automatically shows ALL 4 UNPAID

WHMCS Support's Response

The reason for this behaviour is that manual invoices aren't associated with the service, WHMCS can't know these manual invoices related to the services. So it saw that these services had not been invoiced and therefore generated one.
If you didn't want WHMCS to automatically generate invoices then you'd need to move the Next Due Date forward to a date in future, and then when the client paid the manual invoices set the Next Due DAte to the correct date for the renewal invoice to be automatically generated.

My thoughts/response (yes I'm frustrated)

This is a very stupid setup and method. If someone creates the order manually and unchecks the option to automatically generate invoice, then why the hell is whmcs STILL generating the invoice later that day? That is stupid, pointless and defeats the purpose.
