Hello,

My idea is simple:
Customers can buy Gift Vouchers that can be used on the your whmcs panel orders. They would go through an order form and get emailed the voucher and given the voucher code (coupon code) - which can only be used once.

They would be able to print it out or email it to a friend.

£5/£10/£20/£50/£100 vouchers etc..

I have several customers who would like to give a friend a voucher for birthdays etc.. So why not make it automated?

A simple add on might do it - but if enough people want it, then it could be included with the default whmcs installation :)

Let me know your thoughts on this,
Regards

Personally I don't see this as being something that my own system / customers would use very much at all, after all, buying web hosting or domains etc is very much a personal choice as to 'where' you do it.

However, if I was going to do it, I'd create a product group, then individual products with a price, £5, £10 etc, and let the customer purchase it.

Then, using the Promotions system already built into WHMCS I'd generate the code for a one off monetary value and email that code to my customer so that they could email it onto a friend.

I suppose if they never used it, I'd win anyway as the money has already been spent on my system.

I'm sure there could be a way of automating this, but for the number of times I could see it being used, (none), :-) I wouldn't bother.

Might be worth using the system above first to see if there's much of a response to it before you commit to creating or paying for something that won't be used. ?

Just a thought.
