How can I change the Pay Pal wording (payment option) from "Pay Pal" to something like "Credit Cards"?
thanks,
Michelle

Your paypal terms oblige you to desribe the payment as only paypal, not to give the illusion that anybody else other than them are going to handle the information.
anyway, i doubt you could change it, all the main files are encoded with ioncube. could be wrong though :)
even if you could, i think it would be wrong to do so. You could add text to the order forms though describing that you can pay using a credit card with paypal without a paypal account.

You can change it. I changed Paypal to Paypal Subscriptions.
It's under each gateway.
Right, but wouldnt be what she is after.

it might be, i may have misread the original post
as harrison says, if literally you want to change 'paypal' to something else then you can in the gateway configuration section.
True, but like you mentioned, she couldnt legally do it unless it still said paypal.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions. Didn't realize Pay Pal had those terms.
What I had in mind was changing it to "Credit Card Payment via Pay Pal". There are still a lot of people out there who don't know what Pay Pal is, believe it or not.

Hey,
Ya I have something setup to the same effect as you what you can do is go to,
whmcs/admin/configgateways.php or
Configuration > Payment Gateways
then just chose the gateway and enter in the name you would like to call that gateway.
Example:
PayPal - I have it called on my system PayPal - Subscriptions (default gateway for paypal subscripitions)
PayPal Invoices - I have it called on my system PayPal - One time payment as this will make a new invoice each time a hosting payment is due

Adam
