Would be nice to see pdf invoices. Would also like to see a nicer design for the invoices.

I disagree. The design for the invoices currently is simple, easy to read, and presents all necessary infomation. What would the point of a .pdf invoice be? The current ones are printable.
I also think pdf invoices are a bad idea. I hate pdf technology in general though =P
Also, you can design the invoices any way you like. Thats why they are customizable.
Hey,
This has been talked about in the forum post below,

I personally don't care, as long if theirs an on and off switch I'm cool.

A more complete, branded, configurable PDF invoice looks much more professional and is almost a must in dealing with corporate clients in a VAT/GST environment (i.e., the rest of the world :-) ) where a tax invoice is mandated.

Odd, I have been working in the IT industry for 10 years and I would say maybe 1-5% of the market does pdf invoices.

And the other 99% does invoices as a web page or an email? Maybe not, maybe there's a lot of professional-looking, branded paper invoices. Besides which, I'm talking about professional services industries . . . :D

Those 99% do web site, email, and paper based invoices. My last job as an IT Director for a brokerage counts as professional services company, but i could be wrong. I actually just resigned from that job last week to do consulting full time.

i could be wrong.
I seriously doubt that. Despite being a relative newcomer to the IT industry, it's pretty clear you know everything. :)

I never tried to claim that i know everything, I was just responding how you are wrongly stating that pdf invoices are more professional and common than email or web site based invoices. Even if it was semi-common, it doesnt make the use a good thing.
Request features all you like, I have nothing to do with the approval of them. I am just stating why its a bad idea and explaining why I feel that way. If you scroll up and read, you will see that I am not the only one that feels this way as well.
I think having the option suits us all.
I'm using PDF invoices all the time, I think it looks more professional. Not to mention that it's a must-have feature in countries where they have form based invoices.
Hey now,
Would it hurt to have the option but just have it turned off? eh eh?
1and1 sends me PDF invoices every month for the hundreds of domains I have with them. For me I really don't care. Its a nice to have them saved in file for accounting purposes but if their is an off and on switch for this what will it hurt?
