WHM reseller and WHMCS?

How do I set up a clients reseller account inside of WHM to use a license I bought for them of WHMCS? When I go to add new server it just has cPanel and not cPanel WHM as the server type.

I've not done it before but I believe it works like this.

You setup the server with the username and hash/password then when creating a product, choose Reseller instead of shared for Product Type.

This will then work as a reseller account. I believe that cPanel and WHM are both known as basiclly cPanel.

Note: This won't work with third party reseller software like Deasoft's Reseller panel for WHM (doesn't work for me anyway). You will need the root account that can make standard Reseller accounts for WHM.

Thanks. I had them set it up where it just creates shared hosting accounts but put the packages as username_package and see if that works. I think the resellers you are talking about is what I have my reseller packages set to seeing I have root access to the server. I'll give it a shot though.
