Hi

In the contect of WHMCS is an affiliate the same as a reseller?

I note that you simply enter the one percentage figure for commissions. Is there any way to only pay this on some products rather than all. For example, to pay say a 20% commission on hosting orders, but not domain names?

Also, could you clarify, what is meant by 'Bonus Amount to deposit on sign-up'?

An affliate simply gives someone a link to your website. If that person signs up to a service, they get xx% for the sale.

The bonux amount to deposit on sign up is like a free amount when they create an affliate account.

You could call an affiliate a reseller, but it is not reselling like if they had a reseller account on your server. It means they can refer people to your site to signup and get paid for it.

As Harrison has said, affiliates are only paid commissions on Products & Services orders. A referred customer ordering domains or addons does not give an affiliate any commission.
