Currently the support tickets are completely handled through WHMCS, meaning that if you reply to a customer's ticket, the customer will need to log into the client area to view the reply.
I would think it's more customer friendly when the customer receives this reply straight away by mail, and does not need to log into the client area to see this reply.
Could this be done?
This could be done, but tons of works will be involved.
( Matt will give ya the accurate answer )
This is certainly possible. However, if the ticket is sent by email then the tendency for the customer would be to reply to the email with his/her reply and it would then not be logged in the system. To resolve this problem there is a thing called email piping where you "send" emails into the system and they will be automatically added to tickets. I am looking into adding this to WHMCS and once this is available, then yes ticket replies will be sent by email.

Matt

Any idea on when this would be implemented? I really like what I'm seeing with WHMCS. You already have subdomain support which is a must for my company, and email piping of support tickets would really "set the hook".
