project spec files

this would be a great feature to add in my opinion.

i know it can be done with manual files uploaded, or even using the quote as a project spec.

but it would be nice to have a "project spec" section where a detailed project spec can be added, which can be delivered as a pdf like invoices and quotes.


if it was a built in feature you could integrate an acceptance form into the project page which then logs the client accepting the project spec.

another great feature on top of this would be to add an "additional tasks above project spec" feature, which allows you to bill for task not set out in the project spec, and again gain acceptance from the client by them having to submit acceptance of the additional tasks.




i know these features are mainly targeted at designers/developers who have these documents for projects. but my experience shows lots of designer/developers use this system with whmcs for there billing and project management.


this sort of acceptance is already present in the quotes feature of whmcs, so it would be great to have it in this module.

its much better and more accessible to ask clients to click a button to accept a project, then it is to send them paperwork which they need to sign and return.

+1 for extra project detail needs to be WAY more details able to be added to the project spec/description.

only having a project title (and that's it) is not enough for people (clients, staff and contractors) to know what the project is about . . .otherwise it's just some bits in a task list under a heading.

----> need some work in the work flow here, as well as more options from tickets - read good in the pre-sale promo - but can only create a project from a ticket. Need to be able to create a task, or attach to existing task/project also; much the same as extra detail in the project "head" itself.
