I am trying to decide on a payment gateway. Which one is the best and why? I would prefer no monthly fees.
Thanks
Hey,
PayPal does not have any monthly fees, you just pay per transaction.

Thanks for the replies. I should have specified more. I am looking for a payment gateway for credit cards. I use paypal, but am looking to accept credit cards also.
Thanks
We use Google Checkout and it does the job for us. No fees is a bonus.
We use Google Checkout also. No fees is only good to the end of the year so far though.
I highly recommend CDGCommerce, they have no monthly fees as well.

Hey MACscr, do you have a link for the no fees option? I looked things over and they appear to have a $10 a month fee at this time. Unless I misread something?

I honestly think the $10 plan is the best one (no setup fee), the no monthly fee one had a $49 setup fee. I will try and find the link to the promo for you and PM you with it when i get a chance.
2CO don't charge monthly fees but they have a high commission (up to 5.5%)

all suggested above seem to be US, or US/UK only :-(
Anyone with a good payment Gateway for Australia based company?
