Hello,

I know that we can add an addon for update/support. however is there a way to make two addons? so the user can choose to pay only for the update or only for the support?

What we are trying to do now is separating the process of support that the process of allowing the user to update to newer version.

The user for example who have an ability to work on the application without a need for a support from us, can directly pay for the update addon and get the needed files for the update.

However, the users who don't want to update to newer version, but still want our support for the old version, can only choose the support addon and pay for it.

The users who want the update and the support can choose both of the addons and pay for it.

Is it possible using the current licensing addon?

Thanks

If you intend to release an owned or yearly product with a free year of updates and support, just make sure that specific addon is hidden. This will prevent customer from adding updates and support later. You then have two addon modules for updates and the other for support that customers can add once the updates and support combo addon expires.

This is a good suggestion. I will try to use this and see how customer react to this.

This can easily be done...
You can just add addons to your products and read out the addon-data from the $results array.
