Is there a way to clean up the home page widget for project management?

I've got a growing list there of all the projects no matter what their status. I've even added a status entry and I don't want the projects with certain statuses (i.e. completed and my new status "invoiced") to show up on the widget.

The "My Assigned" which is the default view is going to get HUGE. It's already very large with completed status projects showing up there. Maybe just change the default view to the "due projects"? That would be a simple work around until it's decided how to be handled.

I have checked the boxes in the settings area to consider appropriate status "closed".

It is ridiculous, that all this time, noone has bothered to fix this. The project management widget is useless, whithout this fix.

Also need the ability to sort by the columns.

A facility to remove completed projects from the widget has my vote. This is really essential otherwise the widget is going to be made useless by the sheer number of completed projects listed.
