Because Vista is so wonderful and amazing, it has decided you don't need those.

and according to my email inbox somebody PMed me on this forum, then when i go to visit my PM inbox the PM isn't there maybe something "strange" is actually going on. I view this forum on Vista at work and its perfectly fine.

joe123 - Are you sure you are logged in? Those forums are hidden for guests.

SpookedOut - That can happen if someone sends a PM but then deletes it.

Um..how would Vista affect what is displayed on a website?

Browsers could affect the design of the website, but actually removing key details, no way.

Not saying it did, or even that it's likely, but if the details relied on something the OS (which is tied heavily to the browser and vice versa) felt was unsafe, it's possible. Vista tries to make *everything* safe, and fails, mostly.
