It depends on what you want. MAC programmers don't come cheap. Can you be specific?

Just looking for someone to create a Mac equivalent to this (http://www.phplivesupport.com/winapp.php) for the same software. It looks quite simple but I'm no programmer!

Can anyone help with this? I tried a couple of freelance sites but people came in with quotes of anywhere between £900 and £3k, which is over priced for what I need! I know mac programmers can be expensive but these ones were pushing their luck!!

I have downloaded the win app and ill it does is call a webpage and runs the page on its own (ie IE doesnt need to be open).

So if anyone know's anyone that can take a look and quote, or if anyone is interested please PM me!

Thanks

Adam

Adam, I seem to remember that someone actually aleady created a mac applet for php live. I will ask the macheads around the office. We use php live too, so may be of interest. Will let you know ...

onestop, apparently there was some development of a cross platform java applet which connected to PHPLive! but, we can't find google it. It'd be nice if anyone has the name of it or the developer. I tried sourceforge and a few other repositories too, with little luck. If anything comes up, i'll let you know.

I found a few references to the java app in a few forums, but no nothing else.

If you hire someone to do it, and they can do it in java using jabber classes, we may be interested in sharing some cost. I'll have to speak to my boss.
