I'm planning to buy whmcs but I would like to know more about it. I have a web site under construction for my hosting services but I only offer tree hosting plans. is it possible to customise the WHMCS to my site ?
thank you.

It is possible to integrate WHMCS to your website, you can either do-it-yourself, or pay the integration fee.

Hey

The site integration is so that anything that is by WHMCS, the client area, order page, server status page, domain checker page, downloads page, knowledgebase page, suppot ticket page, submit a support ticket, fits into your site. When a client would like to browser your products he or she does not have to go to WHMCS. Most/all host have a chart/table setup on some where on their site and a link at the bottom of the page which connects to WHMCS (the order page).

Understand?

Is it a template based system so that I can take the header and footer of my existing design and make it match?

Yes, it is. The template files are in the templates folder. You should follow the guide at www.whmcs.com/documentation/entry/3/9/ for more info.
