FYI on IONCUBE Loaders

Just wanted to let everyone know that some servers are running x86_64, as is my server, so I had to download the x86_64 loaders from IONCube and use them instead. Works perfectly now! :)

Hey,

Which means, if your server is running Linux as 64bit (highly don't recommend as it causes problems with other software) you will need to download IonCube's 64bit loaders.

For most servers these should be fine,



root@server [~]# wget http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz; tar -xzvf ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz

I'm confused. Did you say the exact same thing that I said only in a different way? I've been running Linux as x86_64 for a long time without any problems. Just takes a little more effort ;) Something most System Admins do not want to do.

truenegative imagine you are managine 10-15 servers sure u don`t have enough time for the 64 bit headache :)
