Writing a payment gateway

Hello,

I'm writing my own payment gateway, called iDEAL.
iDEAL is a dutch system developed by 3 national banks to provide an alternative for creditcard payments.
It allows users to pay and webshops to confirm the payments right away.

Now I was wondering, how can I notify the WHMcs system that an invoice is paid through my custom made payment gateway?
