While I have someone I can lean on for technical stuff now that I have learned a little, I want to learn a lot.

Can anyone reccommend the best book about managing a hosting service. A simple search on Amazon reveals quite a few, but some opinions would be appreciated. More interested in Linux. Or are there some good web resources. Where I am there are no classes to take, so if I want to learn now it needs to be print or web.

Any ideas would be appreciated! :)

O'Reilly (http://www.oreilly.com/) has some great books that are a wide range of Linux that can assist you in your learning times.

CPanel books (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1904811922) are a good way to learn the control panel if that is what you use for your hosting.

There are a ton of books like you said, and it will be a guessing game. A book that can help me out may not be the same for you, and such. I hope this helps a little.
