Simplest Payment Gateway to setup

Well im looking to setup a payment gateway to accept credit cards, Ive been looking at Chronopay and seems to want alot of documentation... ie passports, business documents etc.

Can anyone suggest the quickest and easiest payment gateway to setup?

I went through CDG to get my merchant account. Was really simple, few forms, bank authorizations, and a fax and was up and running.

I used ChargeToday, took about 4 days and IO was setup with an authorize.net account.

remember he is in the UK, so his options arent the same as someone like us in the US. hopefully Matt or someone makes a ProTX module as i have heard they are the best for the UK.

does CDG offer recurring payments? or just invoices? do they have a virtual terminal?
