View Full Version : Hosting Disk Space

Hi,

This will probably seem like a stupid question, but I am totally new to this.

If I want to offer a domain hosting service to clients, and purchase your product, do you supply the actual space on a server for domain hosting or is it just the admin service that you supply?

If you just supply the admin service, can anyone recommend where I need to go to buy space.

Thanks.

whmcs is just billing software. Darn good billing software, but just billing software. As for space. There are TONs of web hosts that will let you resell space. Most of the people here run one in fact (including myself).

Since it sounds like you are new to the business you will want to make sure you choose a company that will give you the level of support you need, and may not be the bargain basement cheapest.

For a good overview I'd recommend http://webhostingtalk.com/ it's a HUGE forum about web hosting, and has an offer section with a never ending flow of 'deals'.

Thanks for the input Jason. I'm currently looking at myriadnetwork as I already host several sites with them.

You will need to look at their reseller or VDS solutions in order to use WHMCS.
