How strange, spam bots that are nice. Soon they might even realise the forum doesn't have a "crap spam goes here" forum.

We need a couple of Modorators around here to help Matt out, so crap like this can be deleted. I personally find the forums very handy and I check them everyday. I really dont want to read junk advertisements, as I am sure others feel the same.

It's a problem everywhere, and too much for one or two people to keep a handle on. Once a few get in, more follow in pretty short order, but I'm sure Matt has thought about it already.

That is very true bear, I just did some house cleaning over on our ktools.net forum and removed about 800 spam accounts, that have accumilated. The sad thing is I now set the forum to where I have to approve all new accounts because I was getting about 20 spammer signup a day, and about 30 to 40 post a day to delete.

So now should be good since I beefed up the login process a little.

As bear says, once they start coming it gets worse.

Matt needs to install a captcha system on registration if there isn't one already, or check:
