Recently I found about Paypal's new feature; Paypal Pro...
http://www.paypal.com/pro
Pretty much what it is that instead of going to paypal's site to process the transaction, the customer always stays on the seller's site, but paypal still processes it in the background could this be used with WHM ???
It couldn't be used with WHM - but it may be possible to implement it into WHMCS :)
I'll add it to the ToDo list for a future version.

That would be fantastic if PayPal Pro made it into this. Not having to leave WHMCS would be great for the easily confused.

Yes i agree not leaving the site to goto Paypal will be great. I have had issues with customers not understanding this process.

Hello,
Just wanted to bump this to see if it was going to be implemented into any future versions?

Ya I still agree that if there is a way for the customer to not leave my site to make payment that it would make things much less confusing.
I have many customers have issues with this. Some of them have lock ups during the transistion and then they do not realize that they are an exisiting customer so they use another email and create another client profile for themselves.
These are common occurences and woudl be great to get rid of.
If your in the US, i highly recommend checking out bluepay. They have a lot better prices than paypalpro. LOL, i dont even have any monthly fees or minimums.

Ah, I diddn't even notice that PayPal pro even had a monthly fee involved.

Matt,
Any chance that PayPal Pro integration might be considered in the next version?
Thanks :)

I currently use "another" system for my hosting billing system... it does everything I need with WHM integration, multiple servers, Enom registration, transfers, and renewals, Check/MoneyOrder, Paypal, and Credit Card payment options with a PayPal Pro plugin allowing it to be used as a gateway for "Credit Card" mode... but it is very cumbersome, very little "billing control" with no way to manage something out of the "ordinary" and "automated" It also has several unexplainable bugs which are getting on my nerves :) They have been pomising a new and better version for the last few years - but nothing has show up yet...
WHMCS _seems_ to do EVERYTHING I want and more, however one thing I really, REALLY want is PayPal Pro support - If it had that, I would buy it today!
Any chance someone can try taking a crack at it? Please??? Pretty please with a cherry on top?? :P

For sure. PayPal Pro support would be delicious.
PayPal are currently BETA testing a new "more easy to use API system". I've just registered for info about the BETA so hopefully I'll be able to get it integrated!

Has Paypal gotten any better since they first released their API? I remember them being a nightmare.

Would also like to know how this is coming along?
Could solve some issues for me!
There has not been any progress made with this. CSNM-Carl, if you have knowledge working with it then it would be interesting to talk with you about it.

I've no experience in the development of it all I'm afraid. And I've heard it's a total pain to get integrated too. If you need any details, logins, guides though I should be able to help...

Yep, that's what I've found too! :) I'll have a look around again and see if there's any new documentation or code samples available.

I am going to have a look at trying to develop a simple connection for payments for it and will post it here when I have done it. Just hope i can figure it out.

Me to either that or epdq but i doubt there will be many others asking for epdq so paypal pro pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Hey,
I would like to see PayPal Pro built into WHMCS. Not only does it offer paying for services on your site, but also has some cool fraud protection items that are very useful.
Thanks,
Adam
plus it does echeck, all major CC's, and there was something else that i cant think of, but they were good. =P
I wonder if you can track all paypal and paypal pro transactions in the same place. Anyone know?

I would also like to see this very much especially since paypal put up their standard uk fees to 3.4% + 30p some savings to be had here yearly.

Yes, I had them with my previous billing software (as bad as it was, it was nice to have pppro) and all of your transactions show in the same place. I would really like to have the pppro option again, but I'm getting along fine with BluePay for now.
Hey,
So can we get some type of response from WHMCS about this? Can you guys also setup a Poll (if you want) but we have about three page thread here with people asking for it to be added to the system.
Thanks,
Adam

I know the shopping cart osCommerce has it inpimented, and the checkout plugin that runs it is un encoded, so if you would like i can send that over to you, so you can get an idea of how they did it??
I have some experience with it, but not alot.
