Hello, all. New to WHMCS and thinking about buying soon. Keeping track of all my billing/renewals manually is driving me nuts, so I need some help in that area. I was considering ModernBill, but someone said WHMCS was just as capable and much easier to work with. So here I am!

Another area I am needing some help in is accounting. I see that WHMCS is able to export a CSV file with all the transactions for importing into Excel or another bookkeeping program. I am looking for suggestions on what Accounting/Bookkeeping software to use, one that would allow for easy importing/integration of the CSV file that WHMCS makes available. I am basically interested in tracking income and expenses and producing a couple reports at the end of the year for tax purposes. Anything else would be gravy.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions!

Sincerely,
Scott Henry

Quickbooks is highly recommended by a lot of people.

Just remember, the programs cannot do everything for you, and you need to get an accountant to ensure everything you've done is correct and legal.

Thanks, Harrion. Yes, I've seen where quite a few people like Quickbooks. It just seemed like overkill to me, truthfully. Has anyone used the free accounting program that Microsoft came out with?
