Allow disable our logo in emails but not invoices

Can you allow us to disable the use of the logo in email messages but allow us to continue using it in invoices. I like how it looks on the invoice but in emails I would rather have those just start with the "Dear [client],".

Maybe add the logo syntax into the email templates?

or...

Create checkboxes for it in the General Config tabs for Mail and Invoices?

You simply remove the logo url from the Config > General Config section and then use an image tag in emails you do want it in. And for the invoice, you'd add it into the viewinvoice.tpl template file.

But will that give an error when sending out email, like a broken image, or just remove the whole <img tag?

Yes, you just remove the logo url in Config > General Config.
