Simple Date Formatting Change

Loving the script but have had confusion from a few shall we say "challenged" clients.

We have clients all over the world but US clients in paticular get confused by invoice dates because we are a UK based company.

04/05/2006 is the 4th may for our billing system not the 5th of April.

This is really simple, but an optional date format of

23 June 2006

would keep clients in all countries straight

I think the date should be a configuration option so we can set it however way we want. Dates should be stored in the database using the mysql date format.
