Alternate Email Address In Profile

I am finding the need for a second or alternate email address to be in the profile for an account. This situation comes up when a designer or webmaster has someone sign up for hosting with the owners information, but the webmaster or designer needs to be able to receive login information or other emails. I guess it would be an issue if billing emails went to the secondary email address...maybe an option to send to the second email address in the profile? Of course the client area login would need to be via the main email address.
Does anyone else ever run into this?

This has been requested a few times since 2.5 was released. It will be added for an upcoming release.

Was this implemented in 3.1? I'm using 3.1 but haven't found that as of yet.

We also have been waiting for months this update :( . It is important due to so many problems with sending emails to hotmail for example.

When you implement this?
